The Holiday Cookie Session combines a short portrait experience with a hands-on cookie-making activity. Most of our time together will be spent making sprinkle cookies while I capture the messy, playful moments along the way.

The Holiday Session is focused entirely on family and individual portraits, with a festive holiday setting and kid-friendly props to encourage natural interaction and genuine expressions.

Both experiences are approximately 45 minutes. I don't strictly watch the clock, though, and allow room for children to settle in, transitions to happen naturally, and the experience to unfold without feeling rushed.

We'll begin with a short portion for family and individual portraits before moving into the cookie-making experience. Most of the session will be spent rolling, shaping, and covering sprinkle cookies together while I photograph the process, including the flour, sprinkles, little hands, and all the joyful moments in between.

Yes! Your family will take the freshly made cookies home with you afterward to to enjoy.

That's completely okay! My sessions are always child-led, and I don't expect children to participate in a particular way. They can join in, watch, play, interact with their family, or simply be themselves. Often, those unexpected moments become some of my favorite photographs.

I completely understand that not every child feels excited about having their photo taken, and that’s okay! It’s my job to connect with your kids and help them participate in a way that feels natural and fun.

As a mom of two, I know firsthand that little ones can be unpredictable, and I want you to know there’s no need to feel stressed or embarrassed if things don’t go perfectly.

During our session, I’ll adjust to what works best for your child; we’ll play games, sing songs, explore different props, or even take a snack break (with your permission). The most important thing is that we make the experience fun and exciting, because that’s when the most genuine smiles and natural photos happen!

Choose something that feels comfortable and like your family. For the holiday setting, warm neutrals, creams, burgundy, deep greens, and other soft or rich tones photograph beautifully. Coordinating is lovely, but you don't need everyone to match.

If you are doing the holiday cookie session, make sure you wear something you don’t mind getting a bit dirty!

You will receive your online gallery of images for your session within three weeks of your session. It will include a full curated gallery with a minimum of 10 images, you will be able to download all photos directly from the gallery.

There are options to buy prints of any photos if you do desire and have them shipped to you house.

Your gallery is thoughtfully edited and intentionally selected to represent the very best of your session. I include all images that contribute to the story of your collection, ensuring that every photograph has purpose and adds value.

Each session includes a guaranteed minimum number of images, and any additional photographs beyond that are included at no extra cost when they enhance your final gallery.

Payment is done through an online portal with a credit card. A 25% retainer (of the original session fee) is paid upfront, the rest of the payment is due the day of the session and the card on file will be charged.

All pricing is transparent and listed on the website. Sessions list the deliverables and the cost. Sales tax will be applied.

As photography is not something that most families do frequently, it is understandable that you are nervous! There is no need for concern. I will guide, prompt, and direct you and your family. I strive for a session that authentically captures your family as best as possible, so there is no need be anything other than yourselves! I will prompt for natural-looking poses and capture candids throughout the session.

My clients typically travel from all over the Greater Seattle Area, including but not limited to Redmond, Sammamish, Issaquah, Bellevue, Kirkland, Duvall, Snoqualmie, North Bend, and beyond!

For in-home or outdoor sessions, I travel within a 20-mile radius of Redmond, WA. I also will consider traveling farther for an additional fee.
