The Maternity Story is a quiet pause before everything changes. These sessions are designed to capture anticipation, connection, and the beauty of this in-between season, whether that means images focused solely on you, or including your partner and children as part of the story. The Maternity Story is your maternity photography designed to capture this phase in a calm, guided experience that allows genuine interaction to unfold naturally; ideal for families on the Eastside of Seattle, including Redmond, Bellevue, Sammamish, Issaquah, and surrounding communities.

All Maternity Story experiences include a curated, full digital gallery, delivered within two to three weeks, with every beautiful moment you’ll want to revisit.

Best for: expectant parents who want a refined, minimal experience with soft, timeless imagery.

The Essentials Experience is a streamlined, intentional approach designed to preserve this season with simplicity. With a single backdrop and a focused scope, the session allows space for connection, gentle guidance, and natural moments to unfold resulting in a refined, cohesive gallery that honors where you are right now.

  • Approximately 1 hour session

  • One neutral backdrop or simple studio setting

  • Immediate family welcome (partner + children)

  • Gentle posing with natural guidance

  • Minimum 15 images (average ~30)

Investment: $700 + sales tax

Maternity Story Full Experience

Best for: those who want variety, styling options, and a deeper visual narrative.

The Full Experience offers additional time and creative flexibility to tell a more layered story. With multiple backdrops or soft custom elements, this option allows for greater variety, outfit changes if desired, and a deeper exploration of connection, creating a fuller, more expansive gallery that reflects the anticipation and emotion of this season.

  • Approximately 2 hour session

  • Multiple backdrops or soft custom elements (fabric, tone, floral accents)

  • Immediate family welcome (partner + children)

  • Outfit changes if desired

  • Minimum 25 images (average ~40)

Investment: $1100 + sales tax

Partners and children are welcome to be included as part of your Maternity Story, and images with loved ones will be woven naturally into the experience when desired. If your vision is focused solely on you, that is honored as well, your story is yours to define.

What to Wear

You’ll receive simple styling guidance to help you feel confident and comfortable. Flowing fabrics, soft textures, and neutral tones photograph beautifully, and so do tight body suits! What you choose to wear is a personal decision about your style and comfort.

Privacy & Image Use

You can choose to keep your gallery private, or opt out of having your images used for promotional purposes. Your family’s privacy is always respected.

Album and Heirloom Add Ons

Preserve your Maternity Story with albums, framed prints, or wall art. Many families choose to build a collection over time, returning yearly to document their growing family.

Many families choose to complement their maternity images with newborn and childhood sessions in a First Year Album, creating a cohesive visual narrative from pregnancy through your baby’s first year.

Session Details

Your maternity session is designed to feel unhurried and supportive, with space to settle in and move at a comfortable pace. Sessions are guided with gentle direction while allowing natural moments, connection, and emotion to unfold.

Planning Your Session

  • I completely understand that not every child feels excited about having their photo taken, and that’s okay! It’s my job to connect with your kids and help them participate in a way that feels natural and fun.

    As a mom of two, I know firsthand that little ones can be unpredictable, and I want you to know there’s no need to feel stressed or embarrassed if things don’t go perfectly.

    During our session, I’ll adjust to what works best for your child; we’ll play games, sing songs, explore different props, or even take a snack break (with your permission). The most important thing is that we make the experience fun and exciting, because that’s when the most genuine smiles and natural photos happen!

  • You will receive your online gallery of images within three weeks of your session. Since all packages include the curated full gallery, you will be able to download all photos directly from the gallery.

    There are options to buy prints of any photos if you do desire and have them shipped to your house.

  • Your gallery is thoughtfully edited and intentionally selected to represent the very best of your session. I include all images that contribute to the story of your collection, ensuring that every photograph has purpose and adds value.

    Each session includes a guaranteed minimum number of images, and any additional photographs beyond that are included at no extra cost when they enhance your final gallery.

  • Payment is done through an online portal with a credit card. A 25% retainer (of the original session fee) is paid upfront, the rest of the payment is due the day of the session and the card on file will be charged.

    All pricing is transparent, and listed on the website. Sessions list the deliverables and the cost. Sales tax will be applied.

  • As photography is not something that most families do frequently, it is understandable that you are nervous! There is no need for concern. I will guide, prompt, and direct you and your family. I strive for session that authentically captures your family as best as possible, so there is no need be anything other than yourselves! I will prompt for natural-looking poses and capture candids throughout the session.

  • My cozy studio is in Redmond, near Ames Lake, where you can have the session of your dreams! It is located at 27510 NE Quail Creek Dr, Redmond, WA 98053.

    My clients typically travel from all over the Greater Seattle Area, including but not limited to Redmond, Sammamish, Issaquah, Bellevue, Kirkland, Duvall, Snoqualmie, North Bend, and beyond!
